Me

Like most kids growing up down on the Jersey Shore I wanted a couple things out of life, to meet Bruce Springsteen and to make something great.  I spent most of my childhood in a movie theater or off creating my own movies (even if they were just in my head).  I continued formally studying TV production and film in my undergrad years, then went on to study elementary education in graduate school. It was there that I really found my passion for design and game creation.  I loved trying to come up with new ways to teach students by creating games or designing classroom experiences that would make a lasting impact.  Eventually I was lucky enough to end up with Sesame Workshop, where I have been able to pursue my interests in both video and games.

My Work

I have been professionally editing for over a decade and have had the privilege of working on every aspect of game creation, with interaction design really being my passion in that field.  I enjoy studying every facet of the user experience. Finding the most eloquent way to put the pieces together so as to achieve your desired reaction from a user is both fascinating and satisfying.  I think my ability to breakdown logic and envision how all the small details come together to make the whole allow me to excel as an editor, UX designer and project manager.  Currently I am working as a Producer for the Emmy and Peabody award winning website SesameStreet.org.
